My Education

I am an honors graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. My particular interests are in Thermodynamics, Power Generation, Renewable Energy and Economics.

I took a couple semesters off during my undergraduate studies to work as a co‐op intern at GE Energy. Some of my work there contributed toward a new cooling path design for the stage 1 bucket platform of a particular series of gas turbines for power generation. I am a co‐inventor of a patent as a result. Upon graduation, I went to Germany as a Fulbright Scholar. I worked on a variety of projects involving solar thermal applications at the University of Kassel.
